A Belated Thanksgiving Post

I realize that Thanksgiving was over a week ago, but I'm just getting around to posting the pictures. We ate at my parents house, and as usual there were a zillion people, more food than we could ever have eaten, and little kids running everywhere. A good time was had by all!
The Jared Olson Family
It was a long, complicated process to get the turkey out of the oven, many experts were on the scene to give their expert opinions
Big Belly and Christian Zeal(She's due in 3 weeks!)
After dinner the kids busted out Great Great Grandma Bischoff's wheelchair, and they took turns pushing each other around. There were a few tantrums because Janette kept hogging it.

The boys loved their pie!

All Hallows Eve

We had a great Halloween! It started the day before, when we carved pumpkins. Bailee of course wanted a pirate pumpkin. After touching it the first time, she refused to go near the pumpkin goo, so I'm claiming this as my pumpkin since I did all the work. Too bad I didn't take a picture of the finished product!

On Halloween, we woke up and put our costumes on. I didn't get Bailee's costume done until the night before, and for weeks she has been begging me to "Hurry up and make it!". She spent the morning running around saying "Arrr give me money! Arrr give me candy!" and whacking Jackson on the head with her sword. We met Grandma Stevens for lunch, and then we were off to Gardener's Village to see their witch display. Bailee was excited for this all morning, and she and Jackson had a blast running around and looking at the different witches.

(He had little feet that went with his costume, but they kept falling off)

They had a petting zoo there, and the kids got to go on pony rides. Jackson especially was so excited, and was laughing the whole time.
Have you ever seen a gorilla riding a horse?

After that, it was off the Grandma and Grandpa's house for the traditional Halloween/Whitneys birthday dinner. Bailee was in heaven running around with her cousins. She went trick or treating with Madi and Abbi, and the three of them were racing each other to each house, trying to be the first to ring the doorbell. Needless to say, most doorbells got rang over and over since they could never agree on who would ring it, and Bailee always rang it several times. They all got lots of candy, and Bailee has been dumping it out and organizing it every day, and is eating it as we speak.

Jackson spent the whole night eating glowsticks-we probably should have fed him some food or something!
